If It’s Meant to Be, It’ll Get Delivered
Final sale regrets, vintage wins, and the joy of a lowball offer gone right.
It’s kind of wild. When I first started this, I remember thinking, am I really going to find enough cool, interesting, unique pieces to share every single week? But somehow, week after week, I keep finding things I genuinely love.
I spend hours digging through all kinds of sites, searching for specific pieces, saving links, and just hoping they don’t sell out before I hit publish. This week, I was on the hunt for accessories for a wedding I’m going to in Aspen, so you’ll notice a few western touches. I found so many amazing belts. Honestly, I’m too embarrassed to admit how many final sale ones I ordered just to see what would work.
One of my favorite parts of this whole process has been finding pieces that feel really current. Things that could easily be in the new arrivals section of Moda today, but they’re vintage or secondhand and often a fraction of the price. Whether it’s jewelry, shoes, or a bag, I love seeing how much of what’s trending right now is actually just a rework of something older. That’s kind of the fun of it. Fashion always loops back around, and spotting those connections is one of the most satisfying parts for me.
And a quick reminder: on most secondhand sites like Vestiaire and Depop, you can make an offer—so don’t let the listed price scare you off. Even if it feels like a long shot, it’s always worth trying. Some of my favorite finds have come from offers I thought would never get accepted. You really never know what someone’s willing to take, especially if you’re the one who finally sees the piece for what it is. The seller might be ready to let it go, and you just happen to be the one who sees its magic.
And if you’re still here, I’d love your input. Do you like when these roundups are heavy on accessories? Would you prefer a specific theme? Or do you enjoy when it’s more of a mix? Let me know what you’re liking most.
I know that she is technically supposed to carry your toiletries, but she would be such a cute mini handbag. The chocolate brown with the bamboo hardware is so perfect.
I have a wedding coming up in Aspen that led me down a very dark hole of Western accessories. Thankfully, I found PLENTY and have extras to share.
Never worn?! I want to call this American Cheese yellow, but I think that might be off. Maybe we name her Nacho Patent.
This is just on the cusp of tacky that has me obsessed. This would be so fun with a tank and a kitten heel mule.
This would spark so much joy for me if she were sitting in my closet.
Another Aspen find. I specifically fell in love with the buckle here.
The shoe equivalent of a Prada nylon bag: chic, timeless, slightly smug.
If Brutalism made jewelry…
Louder for the people in the back!
Cool mom at school pickup in 2006. I call her “suburban luxury.”
Delicate, feminine, and somehow still a little edgy. I will personally be offended if no one claims her soon.
Sorry, one more! I had to. IMO, this is an everyday belt.
Carrie Bradshaw meets mob wife chic. That’s the energy I’m channeling this fall.
Ignore the rope/chain situation. It’s only displaying how this would hang on the neck, but holy she is a work of art.
I inherited a similar Dior slip from my grandmother that I am (hopefully) saving for my wedding lol. This one is beautiful and in perfect condition.
Would’ve been in my Aspen lineup if they fit me, no question.
White Levi’s, a ribbed tank, and this slung over your shoulder.
No idea who the Prosser Pacers are, but they made a great tee.
These shoes have stories.
Looks like something you'd find in a gallery in Santa Fe.
I haven’t stopped thinking about this belt, but I had to cut myself off after I ordered 4 last week. Someone needs to give her a home.
Early-2000s mall energy if you know what I mean, but actually, this would look really cool with a baby tee and flip flops.
Last Aspen, I promise. Statement western boots with serious color blocking.
Loewe in her clean-girl era.
The scalloped edging, lilac snakeskin, and mustard trim? Whimsical, retro, and kind of genius.
A very chic way to wear your grandma’s curtains. I would style them with a fitted white tee and kitten heels or loafers for a more laidback look.
Love you, bye!
I love it all! Wish they would make one of those belts for a size 43" waist!!
